Indoor Games and Mango Cobbler on a rainy weekend family treat

Spread the love

It has been raining lately especially in the afternoon. Kids cannot go out to play; they have no other choice but to stay indoors. Instead of just watching tv, put out those old bingo game cards and encourage the whole family to join the fun. It can help children in number familiarization as the card is printed with numbers and letters on top. It will surely give them much fun as every time a number is drawn from the bingo basket and is called out loud, they will surely get busy looking for that number on their cards.
Grandfather and grandmother will also find amusement in playing the onlinebingo.com or other related sites as an alternative to going to local bingo halls during the rainy season. They could play it for free or once in awhile can bet for winnings of cold cash and at the same time gain online friends on their same ages.

While the family is engage in the entertaining game, you can prepare a mango Cobbler merienda for them to eat afterwards. As mangoes are fruits in season, it will certainly be a delectable treat for the whole family. It will only take an hour or so for the preparation and baking.
Here is my recipe for a delicious snack indulgence.

  1. We like to play Monopoly when there’s nothing good on tv.. 😛 I find that it teaches kids the value of money as well as better math skills, something I don’t have. 😛 LOL
YUMS! The mango cobbler sounds heavenly! I’m definitely going to try this soon! 😀
