The Chilli Con Beef Carne is one of the best family recipes passed on to generations.

Chilli Con Beef Carne
Ingredients:
2 teaspoons oil
2 onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 kilo lean ground beef
3/4 kilo beef sirloin, cubed
4 fresh tomatoes, diced
1 can dark beer
1 cup strong local coffee
2 small cans tomato paste
1 cup of beef broth
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 1/2 tablespoons chilli sauce
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon cayenne
1 teaspoon coriander
1 teaspoon salt
4  cups kidney beans or patani
4 chili peppers, chopped
 
Procedure:
Heat oil.
Sauté garlic, onions, and meat until brown.
Add tomatoes, beer, coffee, tomato paste and beef broth.
Add spices Stir in the patani or kidney beans and peppers.
When boiling, reduce heat and simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
